Amy Arnold, MS
Licensed Professional CounselorReaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and I'm glad you're here. I believe therapy works best when it's a collaborative relationship where we can explore what's going on in your life, build on your strengths, and find practical strategies that help you move forward.
My approach is strengths-based, solution-focused, and person-centered. I draw from various evidence-based modalities Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). I enjoy incorporating humor and creative hands-on experiences when appropriate.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 10 years working in higher education in roles focused on accessibility services, disability compliance, vocational rehabilitation, and academic coaching. Those experiences deepened my understanding of the many ways people learn, adapt, and overcome challenges, and they continue to shape the way I support my clients today.
You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Whether you're looking for support, new perspectives, or practical tools, I'm here to meet you where you are. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you create a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and aligned with what matters most to you. Seeking support takes courage. I admire your decision to take this step. Let’s get started.
